Dr. Michael K. Brooks
Dr. Brooks is a board-certified radiologist at Neighborhood Radiology Services, in addition to serving as Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology at State University of New York – Stony Brook. Dr. Brooks received both his master of public health (M.P.H.) and his medical degree (M.D.) from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., after which he went on to complete his internship in internal medicine at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, followed by his residency in diagnostic radiology at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA. Dr. Brooks then completed his fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging and intervention at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA.
Dr. Brooks’ areas of specialty include: musculoskeletal imaging and intervention, musculoskeletal ultrasound, ultrasound-guided procedures, MRI of extremities, joints, spine, bone & soft tissue tumors, MR and CT arthrography, and CT-guided bone biopsy.
